We live in a world that loves baseball. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could go back in time to discover what baseball was like long ago? This course called Baseball History does that. The course teaches students the history of baseball and interesting facts. They are learning many things. For example, the history of stadiums, how much the tickets costed back then, women's baseball, and more.
When interviewing Sam Weston, he explained that the students formed groups. In each group, the boys and girls began researching a different topic. Sam Weston informed us that his group was learning about the economics of baseball. His group created a google document to put the information they found. Using the information, Sam’s group learned, the students created a presentation which they will present to a larger group.
Next, we interviewed Mr. Wiegal. He said that the students were all studying about different teams, such as a Japan team, and a lot of U.S. teams. He also said that they were studying about some stadiums, and the equipment that they had now and then. At the end they will make a Hall of Fame!
We hope you liked our story and we hope you sign up next year!
