Have you ever wanted to code a robot? Well, if you do, Coding and Robotics is the class for you! The teachers who teach this course are Mr. Tomizawa, Mr. Destefano and Mrs. Asch. This class teaches you how to code robots so they are able to move the way you want.

Maxwell Block who is a fourth grader thinks this course is fun because you get to program robots Dash and Dot =in fun ways. He said you can also make the robots dance and record yourself. He’s learning how to change the eye shape and color.

In this course, they also use dash. We also interviewed Mr. Tomizawa who told us that the students work with b-bots. B-bots are little robots that are in the shape of a bee. The students learn four basic commands when coding. These commands are forward, backward, right and left. This teaches kids about sequence. Mr. Tomizawa wanted to give the kids the chance to play with robots and learn about them. The students in this class did a maze change and had to program the b-bot through a maze. It robots and a program called Tinker. Mr. Tomizawa is having a lot of fun teaching this course.

We noticed the students in this course was having a lot of fun. So, if you like to code next year you should sign up for Coding and Robotics at Edgewood University.
