Do you know about the history of Edgewood? Well, if you were in Edgewood’s History course you would learn all about Edgewood. The Edgewood History course learns about Edgewood’s past.

Today we interviewed two students. The students names were Alice and Kiera. We asked them many questions like, are you having fun in this class? They both gave us a big “yes!” We then asked them to be more specific, and so they did. Alice and Kiera told us this course was fun because they got to play games and learn new things about Edgewood. In this class, the students were playing with lincoln logs and star checkers. They also had tinker toys. We found out that the students in this course came up with a few questions that they were interested in researching. The boys and girls tried to answer these questions. One question was, why did students during this time wear fancy clothes?

After we left the students and thanked them we headed to interview one of the teachers. We interviewed Ms. Campriello first. We asked her if she knew anything about Edgewood’s past. She said, “I do know a thing or two. I know that some of Edgewood did not exist in the 1930s.” Then we asked her, “What did you do on the first week of EU?” She said, “In the first week, we took a tour around Edgewood and we tried to figure out what parts did not exist in the past.” Ms. Campriello also mentioned that they looked at old neighborhood maps of the area. We asked her if she enjoys teaching this class, and she replied “Yes!” Ms. Campriello loves to see kids learning about Edgewood.

Overall if you want to learn about Edgewood’s history come to Edgewood history club. They will tell everything you need to know.
