Is Edgewood News news to you? Well, Edgewood News is just one of the many courses offered at Edgewood University this semester. Mr. DelMonaco, Mrs. Nedwick, and Mr. Cadalzo are leading a team of talented reporters who are tasked to report on all the other courses at Edgewood University. What do the reporters do? In teams of two or three, they fan out all over Edgewood to interview students and teachers to learn as much as possible about each course. Then, they return to the computer lab to craft their stories and post them here on Edgewood News.
Mr. DelMonaco says he’s excited about the Edgewood News course because it’s very hard to work with lots of kids effectively at our lunch club. The course would allow us to help kids write good stories in a more systematic way. Mr. Cadalzo’s favorite part of the teaching the Edgewood News course is watching the reporters in action as they the work in independent teams to gather information from lots of sources. It’s also fun to see all the other classes in action. Mrs. Nedwick says she loves listening to the interviews the kids have done and helping the young reporters with their stories.
