Karaoke is a famous dance, but today we got to interview the Edgewood University’s class learning about karaoke. The karaoke club takes turns in singing in microphone while watching a youtube video of a song of their choosing. They are making a video of them singing.
The club is hosted by Edgewood University where you sign up for a club. Mrs. Mraz and Mrs. Theall teach the class. We asked Mrs. Theall if she enjoys teaching the club. She said, “Yes, the kids here are very creative, and I like to see what they do.” Our next question was that did she know what time karaoke was invented. She said she didn’t know what time, so she and the kids are learning more about karaoke. She said that karaoke first became popular in Japan. After people came from work, they would play the music.
As we watched the class doing karaoke, everybody seemed to be having fun. We interviewed two students and asked them if they first regretted joining the karaoke club. They both said, “Yes.” Then we asked them if they feel the same way now. They said a surprising, “No!” I asked them why and they said everyone was very patient, everybody was nice, and they were having fun. Also, they said that everybody was learning, and it is a great experience for everyone.
We thanked them for their time and headed back to the computer lab to type this story so overall this experience was awesome I can't wait until we do it again!
