Can you play the keyboard? At Edgewood University students are able to participate in a keyboard orchestra course for 6 weeks. The course is in Ms. Forte’s room. In this course the students learn how to play the keyboard and other instruments on the keyboard. The students really like this course. Everyone should check it out!

Tessa talks about learning to play music

We interviewed Tessa Leroy. She is a third grade student. Tessa is just learning to play the keyboard. She said she “signed up because she wanted to learn more about the keyboard.” Tessa said she can pick different sounds from Garage Band and play them on the keyboard. Next we interviewed Julian Zlomislic. He is a second grade student. Julian plays the piano at home and he thought it would be fun to try the keyboard. They students are learning some songs to play at the end of the course.

Ms. Forte and Mrs. Huang are the professors for this course. Mrs. Huang and Ms. Forte both teach this course because they LOVE music. Mrs. Forte had all the equipment needed for this class. Some of the equipment the students use are keyboards, headphones, laptops and lots of cables. Mrs. Huang also mentioned she likes to sing and enjoys all instruments!

After observing this course I noticed how happy the students were. They all looked like they were having a good time!

How cool! Keyboard orchestra was so fun when I got to attend. Great job describing the course and choosing photos that give a glimpse into the class.
