Have your parents ever said no to a pet even though you want one? Well at the Pet Care course you get to help take care of pets and then make projects out of what you have learned.
The teacher at Edgewood who teaches Pet Care is Mrs. Meyer. She says, “ I wanted to teach Pet Care because schools don’t have a lot of animals these days.” Her favorite part of Pet Care is seeing the kids playing with the animals.
Some of the students that we interviewed said that they would like to keep studying pet care after the course is over. A lot of the kids said their favorite part of Pet Care was getting to pet the animals and feed them. They also bushed them. Some of the students said the next pet they wanted to meet was a dog. So far they have met a guinea pig and a bunny.
