Some kids say it’s useless, some kids just hate it. But almost everybody agrees that it’s the worst thing since World War II. Guess what it is? It’s THE STATE TEST!!

   On March 24th, Douglas Florian visited Edgewood. We interviewed him to get the inside scoop. It was a lot of fun!

   We interviewed Mr. Cadalzo about what it's like to be a teacher.

   Our three guests represent 18 consecutive years of Edgewood history. Emma Dekidjiev attended Edgewood from 1993-1999, Alex Capello from 1999-2004, and Sophia Mohlulis from 2004-2010.

   In Mrs. Blackley's 5th grade class the Global Enterprise Challenge is on! There are 5 groups each making a different product for their business.

   The goal of this collaborative project was to combine music and art in order to teach kindergarten students the principles of circuitry through the embodiment of sound. Students explored the art of Wassily Kandinsky and a musical composition.

   The teachers at Edgewood School are making videos about their reading lives as kids and as adults.

   In art class with Mr. Fitz the 3rd graders just finished working on clay castles. We think that it is fun making the castles, so we decided to share it with Edgewood News.

   In Mr. Cadalzo's class we made portraits, but are not ordinary portraits.

   Mr. Cadalzo's class has been learning about plants! We are growing mustard plants in our classroom.
