2nd Graders have been doing the Design Shop. It's a club 2nd graders do every Wednesday. We make purses, pillows and more. We have had about 2 sales last year. We got $72!
There are about 40 people at the Design Shop. The 40 kids are split up into 2 groups: Group 1 and Group 2. We get lots of materials to create the accessories. Maya I. works the hot glue gun. She glues the purses and pillows together. Everyone appreciates her hard work. All of the accessories are handmade! We all enjoy using our imagination.
This year we are having a sale on June 18. We are donating all of our money to UNICEF. K-5 may come to Room 6 for the sale! The cost is 25ยข to $5 for accessories.
