Once upon a time, there were three boys named Henry, Caden and Ian. They were playing on the playground doing their favorite thing to do, which was to go on the swings. Then, when they were having a lively conversation about video games, they heard a spooky noise. Henry said, "Did you hear that?"

They both said, "Yes."

They thought it might have been coming from the playground, but they were wrong. So then, Ian said, "Let’s go find it. But we have to pretend we didn’t hear the ghost sound, so we can hear it again."

So they played on the slide. When they were having a team race down the slide, they heard the sound again. But recess ended, so they decided to investigate later. They went back to their classes. Henry was in a different class than Ian and Caden. Henry was in Mrs.Tyrrell’s class, and Ian and Caden were in Mr. Reilly's class.

School was over, and they met each other on the field. Caden asked if they wanted to go to his house, so they walked to his house. When they arrived at Caden’s house, they made a plan to find out what mysterious stuff was going on at Edgewood.

That night they snuck into Edgewood. When they got in the school, right down the hallway, they heard the same noise again. They followed where the sound was coming from and realized it might have sounded like a ghost!!! Then they stopped in front of a door. That’s where the noise was coming from.

They opened the door. It was a ghost! They all screamed, "Aaaaaaa!!!!!!" and ran out of the school as fast as they can.

The ghost escaped...but that wouldn't be their last meeting because after that surprise, they went back to their houses. When they were walking back to their houses, they passed by their friends Luca, Adrian and Dean's house because they were having a slumber party. But then, they heard the ghost sound again! They told Luca, Adrian and Dean that the ghost of Edgewood had escaped, and that it was the same sound the ghost made. So Luca, Adrian and Dean helped them. They concocted a plan to capture the ghost, but they had to gather information. The problem was they ended up watching Ghostbusters, but it wasn't any use because they just wanted to hear it.

The next day, they started an all out search. They went to the Ghostbusters building. They asked if they could borrow the ghost weapons there. The Ghostbusters said they could but only for three days, so they had a short time to track and kill the ghost. They took some weapons with them. The kids went back to Edgewood. They found the ghost sitting on top of the roof eating hot dogs. Just then the ghost saw them and charged for Dean. Now the ghost was inside of him. Then Henry jumped on Dean and said, "GET OUT OF MY FRIEND, GHOST!!"

The ghost jumped out of Dean. They all started firing at the ghost. "YES!!!!!!!!!!! We killed the ghost!" No more harm came to Edgewood. Everybody high-fived and yelled, "BOO AHHHHH!!!!!!"
