In Mrs. Blackley's 5th grade class the Global Enterprise Challenge is on! There are 5 groups (student-run companies,) each making a different product for their business. There are more than 30 schools in 21 countries competing in this challenge, which is sponsored by Microsoft.
The companies at Edgewood will be selling their products during lunch on Thursdays: January 29, February 5, 12, and 26.
If you wish to buy a product bring your money!
Recycle for Life: making and selling t-shirt pillows (you can bring in a favorite t-shirt for stuffing if you've outgrown it)
Who Stole My Bookmark?: making and selling three kinds of bookmarks - cute animal corners, flexible plastic and ribbons
Golden Eagle Keychains: making and selling a variety of attractive keychains to hang on backpacks or fit in your pocket
Smoothielicious: making two flavors of smoothies to drink with your lunch - both include fresh fruit (one will have no dairy products)
Sigma Jewelry: making three different styles of bangles and bracelets, which may be personalized if you wish.
