Edgewood Community Breakfast

Edgewood Community Breakfast

The Edgewood Community Breakfast happened June 6th, 2025. It was from 8:00 am to 8:25 am. You're probably wondering, "What was the whole point of this?" The point was to bring Edgewood School together as a community for 25 minutes.

The Student Involvement Council had this amazing idea of the Community Breakfast 🥓🧇🥞🥚. People brought their breakfasts, picnic mats and towels so they could have a mini breakfast in the courtyard, or the field. You can play on the playground when you are done eating your delicious 😋 breakfast 🥐🥯🍳🍩. Teachers and parents were welcome as well as family, friends, and relatives👭. The Student Involvement Council worked EXTREMELY hard to make this possible.

The Student Involvement Council is planning to make this an Edgewood tradition. The Edgewood Community Breakfast was optional to come to. And next year if we have an Edgewood Community Breakfast and you are a student, a mom, a dad, friends or family with someone that goes to Edgewood, then you are invited!

Let's also thank Ms. Brown, the PTA, Dr. Keane and Ms. Drapek for helping the Student Involvement Council.

The Edgewood Community Breakfast is one of my favorite memories from my first year at Edgewood! It was so heartwarming to see teachers and families enjoying the sunshine and breakfast before school. The Edgewood Community Breakfast was amazing! What a fun time with family and friends! I hope we are able to do this every year, as it would be an awesome to Edgewood tradition to be a part of. Antonia, Claire, Grace, Malula, and Sophie, you did an amazing job explaining the event, and such quick reporting to have it posted the same day!
