You're probably wondering what Peer buddy is. Well Peer buddies is a program that we do at Edgewood, and you have buddies right? Well it's basically the same thing. What we do at peer buddies we play games and make crafts, some of the crafts are snow man, rainbows, tie dyed paper towels, and we also do brain breaks. There are three classes Ms. Koski's, Ms. Learner & Ms. Mazzillo. You are also probably wondering how do you get to go to peer buddies. Well what you do to get into peer buddies is fill out a sheet of paper and have your parent's sign it. And not every single class in the school gets to do peer buddies. Only 4 kids from each class they choose gets to go to peer buddies. Oh, and 3rd grade gets Ms. Mazzillo, 4th grade gets Ms. Learner, and 5th grade gets Ms. Koski. You will also get assigned a day for when you go, for example we go on C days. There is only one day where we eat lunch but that is only for them to like talk about what we are gonna do and how to react to stuff or if anything happens.

And don't feel bad if you don't get chosen, more people wanted to tryout for this then getting the part. You can start to be a peer buddy from 3rd grade! In the room there will be lots I mean lots of toys and games, and some art supplies. If we do a craft you will not take it home (unless they tell you), they will hang it up on bulletin board! And you know that you only have one or two buddies, well in peer buddies it's not the same. We don't just focus on one. We focus on everyone! And do not worry, there are more than 3 teachers to help, so don't worry about being alone.
