     This year we decided to make a "Swimmy" out of the kids and teachers of Edgewood. We first heard about Swimmy in our first assembly in 2009 when we read the story Swimmy by Leo Lionni. We realized that we would all come together as one big fish.
     Now, because we took that picture, we are going to sell the pictures and give that money to the Red Cross for Haiti. Then the Red Cross will add this money to other donations from other people. They will give all that money to people in Haiti. It will still be pretty bad over there, but in our hearts we know that Haiti got a tad better because we helped. Around America a lot of people are helping right this minute!!!!!!!
